Deaths Reported After Two Trains Collide in Indonesia
Two trains collided near the Indonesian city of Bandung on Friday morning, the train operator said, and a local police chief said at least three people had been killed.
One train was a local commuter line, and the other was coming from the city of Surabaya, officials said. Bandung’s police commissioner, Kusworo Wibowo, said in a televised interview that three crew members had died.
No other information was immediately available. Televised images showed mangled train carriages.
This is a developing story.
