Michelin Reveals 2022 New York Area Additions
The star ratings and other distinctions in the Michelin Guide New York City for 2022 will be announced on Oct. 6 during a ceremony at Peak, the restaurant on the 101st floor of 30 Hudson Yards.
But before that shoe drops, the company is providing an advance list of new restaurants it plans to add to the guide, as it has been doing for the past couple of years.
For Manhattan they are: Al Coro, Cadence, Chambers, Clay, Contento, Covacha, Gem, HAGS, Ito, Jolene, Le Devozione: The Oval, L’Abeille, the Lambs Club, Oiji Mi, One White Street, Reverence, Sami & Susu, San Carlo Osteria Piemonte, Semma, Sona and Tagmo. Peak, where the ratings are to be revealed, is also on the list.
Named in Brooklyn are Aldama, Clover Hill, Ensenada, Place des Fêtes, Risbo and Sobre Masa. Queens gets noticed with Zaab Zaab, and La Casa Bronxville in Westchester County is also on the list.
Michelin no longer publishes printed guides in North America; it’s all digital on guide.michelin.com and a free app.
